| I found one on a farm auction that had been a rear end on a tandem truck. I just use it like you do and back the brakes off and forget the brakes. In the late 80's early 90's there were several guys pulling old steel hoppers behind farm tractor loaded end to end and no brakes on the trailer only the wheel tractor pulling it to get it stopped. At the same time period there were guys pulling 2 and 3 smaller trailers hooked together with out brakes. There was one guy that had a a hydraulic hook up off a remote that would apply the brakes. I always thought the full 42' grain trailer behind the tractor was a accident ws just down the road but they never had any problems | |
