ND | Farm in central ND and have been doing more notill and we tend to battle with either soils staying to wet and to cold in the spring. Was wondering if anyone has been using the Summers or Gates coulter machines in the spring to either dry and warm up the ground a bit. We would be using it in corn stalks or standing wheat stubble. Or maybe someone has a better suggestion. Have been reading a lot on strip till lately but not sure if thats the direction we want to go or not. thanks | |
