In fields with high counts of cyst you might consider planting two forms of resistance in that field. By comparing yields you may discover which resistance is needed.

In our area new Peking source beans are as strong yielding as PI88788 sourced beans. (Mid Group 2)The question is if a Peking yields well is it because of race 1 being present in the field.

My opinion is that if Race 1 is present in a field PI88788 will show yield loss from cyst.

Have also been told that in high populations of Race 3 that PI88788 will not give complete control. Peking source beans could give you better control in these fields.
