| Hello all. This is my first post here, here it goes.
I have a landlord that is interested in a 60/40 split on pivot irrigated ground, I was trying to pencil it out, and wasn't having much luck.
In the mean time I stumbled on a thread in the successful farming web site that apparently has one guy giving up 50/50! I was shocked until I read that his landlord apparently pays %50 of fertilizer, herbicide, hauling, and now maybe seed. Now I'm convinced I'm gettin' the shaft on the 60/40 I pay all expenses except fertilizer deal. I think alot of guys up here (western NE) pay all except fetilizer, I have never heard any different.
Now I am curious to see if that %50 split down the middle on everything is a common deal, and if so should I ask for more help from the landlord? | |
