USA | I used this fertilizer last year at 5.5 gal to the acre put on the seed . In 05 we used 7-24-4 Green Flag, the reason for the switch to the 8-24-4 product was the rep for Green Flag went to work for Helena and I could buy it at the same price. Have had good results with both products.
We used 10-34-0 on the seed at 5.5 gal until 2005. I had problems with the 10-34-0 settling out on what was carried over to the next year and it gave me fits at planting time. I have not had this problem with either one of this products. I would not plant corn with out some starter in the furrow. On our soils it pays, whenever I have not put any on you can really see the differnce. We also put an insecticide on with the starter rather use Poncho or Cruiser
