Depends on how complex all your business interests are. If you have separate personal checking and credit cards and want to keep all that separate, it's find to do, but maybe more work than necessary? It's really a personal choice.

I only mentioned MoneyCounts because Pat did. I hung onto a DOS program (not for accounting) into maybe Windows XP. Some of the good ones are hard to let go, when they don't progress to later operating system versions.
