NW MN | Microsoft or Apple will never call you just like the IRS. Unfortunately my parents fell for this last winter usually they call me or my b-I-l if they are having tech troubles but this time mom just listen to the person trying to “help” her.
They asked her to install team viewer which unfortunately my b-I-l had been using with them to help with issues and the scammer got quick easy access. As soon as she hung up she felt funny about the call and reached out. BIL told them to pull the laptop battery and Bring to Best Buy to get virus scanned. | |
