Western-Central Lower Michigan | It shouldnt matter if the new machine is 64bit or 32bit (most programs will run on 64bit)
You just need a thumb drive to copy folders from my documents, install programs on new computer. Some files may be in a "directory of the old computers program".
If it were me, to make this as painless or at least go through it once, I would have suggested going right to Win 10 (they also have 32 bit if you are concerned)
Would think in a year or two, Win 7 will be like Vista and XP, not supported and an oddball.
I didnt think I would like Win 10, I gave it a week, and decided I liked it ok, and now I wouldnt go back. May be some issues, but overall its great in my eyes. |
