Dayton, OH | gotcha. Trees are usually no big deal at all for wireless, but if you've got the conduit already and are unafraid then power to ya :-)
You'll need two of these:

to go back and forth between your LAN and the fiber. I heard from a local GeekSquad guy that at least rats don't chew fiber either, so that's nice to know. Good luck!! :-)
