North Central In. | We are still on dial up believe it or not, it is cheap and has worked really well on our desk top PC windows 7, until we had to update browser, they suggested FireFox, we were on Internet explorer before, they left it in computer also and added the firefox, so we can go to either one, for some reason now the computer is barely useable slow,a computer web discussion sites said to buy a different dial up modem, is there anyone out there in rural area still using dial up and could recommend a better modem ours is Dell RD02-D400 it is 56K V.92, if anyone would have any suggestions for better modem, or know if we could go in and change setting on computer. Like I mention it worked really well before browser change. cable not available our area only satellite which is 4 times price for service. Any Help will greatly be appreciated. | |
