j that pickup driver in the scenario is sober as the day is long.

The driver of car 1 in the scenario with no drivers license has 2 dui's on her record. Also an assault charge which has nothing to do with the driving predicament but goes to show credibility.........or rather lack thereof.

Well, this answered my questions. Once again the g'damn criminals get off and are not held accountable. Not to mention cop stupidity is no factor.
