Embarrass WI | I am on the school board, and have been around a couple news stories as they unfolded. Whoever said, "If you do not read the paper you are uninformed, if you do read the paper you are misinformed." had it pretty close to right. Most reporters have very little knowledge of the subjects they write about. It is really frustrating to read a news story and know, KNOW, that it is not accurate. As you said, how many of the stories that you don't know background on are as far off? |
