Yes there is a dsl jack, that's where my line going back to the phone wall jack goes. My old modem didn't have a wan/lan port on it, so I plugged the desktop into a Ethernet port. Desktop will work when plugged into either port. I was just wondering which port it should be plugged into. Thanks, John
Without knowing the model my answer is "whatever port works". I'm not really up to speed on DSL modems but it's possible that your modem is a dual purpase DSL modem/Network Router and the WAN/LAN port changes its functionality based on configuration.
