Central Nebraska

I use my ethernet wire stripper and remove about 2 inches of the outer sheath.  Then I trim off any string and untwist and straighten all the wires down to the sheath.  Then I put them in the correct order.  I recommend using the "B" standard.  WO,O,WG,B,WB,G,WB,B.  Then, holding the wires in the correct from as close to the sheath as I can while keeping them in order I use my other hand and pull/massage the wires so they are straight and close together in the correct order.  Next, I use my side cutters and cut them off at a length of about 5/8" to 1/2".  Insert them in the connector while watching to make sure they stay in order.  Crimp and test.
