Kansas | Here's my thoughts behind this.........
I've heard several several several cases where someone plowed into a drunk driver. Drunk driver was driving perfectly legal ( I use that word with a grain of salt as driving drunk is illegal but otherwise for arguments sake we will say they were driving abiding all other laws) but the guy that hit them didn't get so much as a ticket and wasn't liable for the accident because the other guy was drunk.
Now, take into account that the car should NOT even be on the road because it's illegal..........toss in someone that should NOT be driving because of no D.L. and then a cop giving escort to a known illegal driving scenario....
Well..........they shouldn't be there. They have NO right to be on that road. Since they are ultimately in the wrong to begin with.........that's why I thought the guy that hit the car should NOT be liable.
