NC KS
A shotgun is loaded in a certain sequence as determined by company rules. A buckshot tends to make them madder and hurt a little but plenty able to keep causing colateral damage. Slugs can stop at close range but they may not be available until a round or 2 is gotten rid of. Slugs and pistol rounds can go through sheetrock easy enough, too. The idea of the 5.56 is that it can get through body armor that is so common these days and has some range to it. The whole idea of any of these weapons is to attempt to be on your target. You would definitley want the 5.56 if you was attempting something beyond 40 yards such as across an open courtyard or a recreation area.
