Western Nebraska
I would be fine with that if there weren't the laws in place to favor the "workers" over the owners. As it is now, the deck is stacked against the owners of companies who have been unionized. GM thought they could get along with their union and it ended up hanging a weight around their neck that they couldn't bear. Now the rest of us are on the hook for GM's idiocy and the UAW's greed. You are so quick to support unions but have you ever stopped to think about what they really do to you as an individual and a consumer? They are only good for the workers, and as we are seeing, that benefit is only a temporary one. They drive up the prices of goods produced in union shops which lowers everyone else's standard of living and ultimately reduces the rest of the population's spending power. It is a tax you pay to support people living a lifestyle that their skill level would not normally dictate.
