southern MN | I have not worked with all that stuff myself, but I was afraid that was how this was going to turn out from what I scanned through the other day.
Maps does the location stuff, and Earth does the imported files stuff. And you are floating somewhere in between wanting a bit of both programs.
Google Earth seems to have a lot of shortcomings in the iOS version, and perhaps all tablet versions. I'm not sure if that is intentional by Google, or the various phones and tablets they need it to run on just don't have the hp to do everything.
