I've been using GoPro Studio for several years.  It is/was free download and has a lot of capability for editing multiple video segments with or without audio.  I don't see it listed on the GoPro website now and may have been replaced with GoPro Fusion Studio.  I do, however, see GoPro Studio listed on several download sites so might be worth a try.
