SE MT
Nobody mentioned Grudges, you have to always start fresh the next day if things didn't click too well the day before.  Two people that store things up too long can have bad results.  Humor also can be a good tool it can be used to drop hints without  being hurtful to the partner or whoever, this lets them know what you think is not right.  Their is times to work and times to play and as long as all partners know that it should work.   Also farmers are usually dealing with DIRT, doctors, lawyers, etc. might own a building but usually not much dirt.   Whiskey is for drinkin' and Water and Dirt is for fightin'.  I've been a partner with my brother for over 10 yrs, no problems.
