southern MN | We all start out just wanna have fun and see what it's all about.
What would you like to accomplish down the road? Do you want to get into infrared and that sort of stuff, or just go with normal imagery?
By the time you buy an extra batter or two, and small tablet for a display, it's pretty common to be in the $1500-2000 range.
You can start bare bones for $600, but running off a cell phone for a viewer is less fun, and only one battery means a 20 minute flight, then wait an hour to recharge. The lower priced offerings tend to have weaker controllers that don't go very far, person finds out being able to range 3000 feet to a mile reliably is kinda fun on a bigger farm......
I have a P3 Pro.
