Subject: High Speed Rail

Graymont Illinois

Wonder what your thoughts are on this topic?

I think I have not seen it mentioned here.

I cross a track that is between Chicago and StL.,

Once, I think, improving the tracks for high speed rail, they closed down not every other crossing, but several in a row.

I ended up crossing thru main street, of my home town, with wide equipment.

I am not happy with the thought of high speed rail, coming thru rural areas.

Not saying we should not have it, but , keep the crossings open.

I have never rode/ridden a train. Thinking of some "vacation" rail trips.

Just wondering what other rural people think of the high speed trains, gaining national attention, urban, I think.

Thanks Brian
