New Mexico | Some places already have high speed rail up an running. I know of several 150 mile type lines.
Once the park and ride infrastructure is in at the stops the rail deal is unbeatable.
Looks like a real efficient deal...and for sure might be handier and cheaper for most people vs driving.
Interesting thing going on....lots of passengers, especially the younger ones ie college grads etc...Many of em ( Half ) do not own a car ( to much of a waste of money and hassle ).....and say they will never have reason to.
Times change.
