Big fan of https://www.gpscity.com/mounts the video clips they have really spark your imagination of how to use the products.

X-grip is just fine for cell phones I have one of their tablet holders and if I was buying it again I'd get the X-grip version as the X-Grip gives one maximum access to the edge buttons and or ports.

I started out with the 1" B style for everything but then I bought an Envizio Pro II and it came with an 1 1/2" ball. Which I found to be superior. I have found uses for all my 1" stuff (mainly entertainment devices) and converted all monitors to 1 1/2"

Forget you ever saw a suction cup mount all they're good for is selling replacement touchscreens. No one will fault you for drilling holes in the windshield ledge on a 40 series or make a mounting strap to go between the right window opener arms mounting screws.
