Subject: RE: RAM mounts

Floyd County, Iowa
Von-

I have several Ram Mounts. I have my Trimble EZ Guide 250 on a 1.5" ball for the tractor. Solid.

Everything else is the 1" version.
Those I have in the boat, two tractors, motorcycle, and Polaris Ranger, all solid mounted.

I have a Garmin GPS60 that I mount on those, and it's surely heavier than any smart phone, and they are all solid.
Also have a go-pro type camera that I mount on these as well.

I also have one on an old Trimble suction cup. This does come loose once in a while, so I have to keep an eye on it, and usually use it in the planting tractor, pickup windshield, and truck windshield for the action camera.

I use 2" and 4" arms to mount the devices to the Ram ball bases, and the only problem I've encountered is the action camera has some vibration at times with the 4" arms.

No doubt you've been to Ram's website to see all the stuff they have. I ordered a bunch of different mounts from them, and can mount the Garmin gps and action camera on just about anything at any angle. Those things are addictive.
