NW Washington | We were suddenly missing emails from a relative who we had gotten email from for years. I found out that our email provider, Comcast was suddenly sticking those email into the spam file. Initially the spam file was always empty when I checked, but while fooling around trying to figure out what was going on I discovered the Comcast was automatically deleting all emails they deemed to be spam. So then I figured out how to stop them from deleting spam messages and then I found the missing emails and some others that we should have been getting put in spam. Now we are getting sister's emails, but I now periodically open the spam file and delete all the junk except any that should not be in the spam file.
Having another gmail account helped fix this problem too. | |
