| All of the mentions by other posters are great. I will add that Carbonite is cool, automatic and very safe, if you ever need to recover a file, it can be very slow to get your data back. Having the local backup option is quick and immediate.
This previous post also goes over 3-2-1 methodology in backups that will keep your hair from being pulled out in the future.

If you're wanting to invest in a really robust yet simple system, a Synology NAS (Network access storage) system is worthy of your consideration. CAUTION - the prices are for unpopulated carcasses, you need to buy your own hard drives to install into the system which is very painless. What I like is if you have one Synology in your office, and then another Synology located off-site in your home, the Synologys can be set up to mirror each other. Thus you would have 3-2-1 (three copies, two locations and a different media) all covered.
