I've used Quickbooks since 1997 and like it. But, be prepared to be nickled and dimed to death. Intuit doesn't support a version of QB but for 2 years. If you want updates be prepared to purchase an upgrade every couple years. It is a stretch to call it an upgrade anymore. If I recall correctly years ago you could purchase an update that wasn't the full retail price but now you just purchase the newest version of QB and off you go. If your going to do payroll with it be prepared to spend for yearly payroll service also. The enhanced version went up to $500 this year. The basic payroll allows up to three employees and cost about half that. |
