Fill a warrant for grand theft and trespassing against the scumbag. Ask the court to make him pay restitution as mentioned above. Just be prepared to spent a LOT of wasted time with the idiots in the public prosecutors office and dates in court. If you get a conviction, send the paper work showing this to your insurance company. Highly unlikely but they may seek restitution in addition to the court which is also unlikely.
