I am running Win10 with Firefox. I opened up HELP, and typed in "Importing Bookmarks", and found the following. If you are using a different browser, maybe click on the help button on your browser, type in "importing bookmarks", and see what you find. "I want to import bookmarks from my old PC, but i't gives me an error massage saying I'm supposed to get an admin to allow me to do so even as admin. The files are all .json. Chosen solutionThese instructions are for Firefox. Just do the same with other browsers. Open the Bookmarks Manager; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B. Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer/profile. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML. |
