In General Settings app,
Scroll down to Safari,
I’m betting one of these setting got switched on that I have off,
Block All Cookies
or maybe
Ask Websites not to Track Me
As mentioned, it’s good to close down all programs once a week or so, double click the button and then flick all the little programs upward one at a time so they close down. Helps get rid of confused programs and restarts them fresh.
