the freezing problem happens with no apparent difference to any other wifi use.  in other words, even when no one else is using wifi the problem still occurs.  

as I said i'm not a techie, but the signal comes into the house via an antenna, so I assume it is fiber optic.  


Tech support says everything is fine, they are no further help.
