I use 3 different free video editing programs.  The video's that I make are for my grand child and aren't overly complex.  I just wish I could edit a little quicker and produce the final result a little quicker.

The programs I use are:
Shotcut
OpenShot
VSCD

I had Pinnacle Ultimate12 on my older computer but didn't feel it was any better than the free programs I now use.
I did like Microsofts Movie Maker but it's no longer available. 

As I mentioned I'm using Windows 7 and this computer can only use 8megs of ram.
