Found a balloon and ribbon in a corn field that I was side dressing yesterday. I thought some of you might be able to help me and the kids figure where it came from.

 It appears to come from a German community within the USA, since it has German language and an American flag on it.

It is a purple ribbon with the text as follows:

"AMERICAN FLAG"

We are located in SW Ontario north of Cleveland across Lake erie, and west of Port Huron Michigan. Any Ideas?
