Texas | I am a pretty hardcore computer user. I worked for a few years as a system administrator at a university taking care of over 100 computers for students, faculty and staff. A mix of Windows, apple, and Unix machines. At the time I hated apple. It has evolved a lot since then. I bought my first MacBook Pro in 2011 and have used nothing else since. I have grown to really like the operating system but primarily I have found the hardware to be a lot better. I travel for work and have to pack and unpack my laptop several times a day. I tried numerous brands of Windows based laptops and never got more than a year or so before things started breaking. With the macs I have had no issues and only buy a new one ever 3-4 years because I want something newer and faster even though the current one works fine. If you are an iPhone user the integration between a Mac and your phone is amazing and just works. | |
