C IL | I also have a 2009 business class laptop that runs all day every day and had an SSD upgrade a couple years ago.
It’s an HP elitebook running Windows 7.
I did have to replace the heat sink on it around the time of the SSD upgrade. The thermal paste wore out and the new heat sink had the thermal paste already installed on it in a little square. Cost $16.xx online.
New batteries are $20, I put one in once on a PM theory but the old one still worked fine.
