oldbones - 12/16/2019 17:53 Gary- Just to clarify, I have basically a set of account numbers for each individual farm, all are subs of primary accounts, for instance , 4001 Corn Sales Home, 4002 Bean Sales Home, 4003 Corn Sales West, 4004 Bean Sales West, 4005 Corn Sales Timber, 4006 Bean Sales Timber. All would be subs of 4000 Crop sales, but can identify each on reports. Only thing is you have to enter the payments from each farm separately when making deposit in ledger, but not hard.

What year sales, 2017, 2018, 2019, ?  Expenses vary each year also on each field, different crop and farm.

Accrual vs. cash accounting.  Hard to assign different acct. numbers for each subaccount.

You specify the range of dates for the report before you run it. You can pick a fiscal year, calendar year, Jan 4th to August 13th, or whatever you want. You can compare year to year.

Not sure what you mean by "Hard to assign different acct. numbers for each subaccount." I just showed you above.

Maybe I'm not following you?
