The question is what processor and how much/what kind of ram?
Ive gave up on any core 2 duo processors or (pentium 3 or 4) and any DDR2 ram.

I think it should be I5, I7 or better, also 8 gig of DDR3/DDR4 ram for me to think the computer got some life left in it.

Not saying it cant be done, but its expecting a lot and when you upgrade to W10, microsoft finds (if it can) some generic drivers for your machine. Things dont always come out the best using old computers or your printer. Please check and see if your printer is compatible with W10 too.

Those two computers may be a step up for you. Supposedly they come ready to plug and play. Sorry if you are talking Laptops, Im not a lap top guy.
