39.48, -82.98 | I think you will have enough resources. The problem will be the upgrade, itself. Most programs will make the transition fine. Others, well they may be a challenge. Device drivers will need to be upgraded, too. As others have said, some older devices may no longer be supported. Some Win 7 to Win 10 upgrades proceed without a hitch...but expect at least a few issues. My old Win 7 desktop will be completely backed up, install disks at the ready, and I will have an entire day blocked out before I attempt to do the free upgrade to Win 10 in a few weeks. If/when something goes awry, I will fight it for a while...but I am prepared to walk away from it, too. It may become my new Linux machine, with the old 32-bit Celeron box going to the Dumpster. (It's old and under-powered...but still as fast as Win 7.) |
