If you want another option, do what I did, got a new to me trailer with the tarp trashed, bows and all. I made brackets to bolt inside the box out of 3/4" rod bent to match the side and arch over for six inches, then used 1" schedule 80 pvc conduit for the center part of arch, which slid over the rod on each side, trial and error to get the length right and I have sturdy but sacrificial bows, and easy to remove on the end dumper for non grain work.


That's pretty much how "flex bows" are made. We put a set on our end dump trailer. Came with steel end pieces & you cut the tube to length to get the arch you want. Had an employee try to load the trailer with corn with the tarp closed. Center 3 bows had the arch down. When he got the corn off the top they popped back up to their original shape
