Apparently you haven't heard of AMD's Zen series of processors, if anything that would be the reason as for price they're beating intel by a fairly large margin.
Windows on ARM has been a thing for a while, 2014 if I remember correctly, iots.
Apple only used them in macs and compared to the rest of the computers in the world, that was nothing.
Wait, didn't this happen like in 1995 with power PC chips too? | |
