Thanks for the help and advice. We know something has to change, and we are talking the the Doc. today to see what she thinks. Like I said, this was the first time that he actually physically tried to hurt someone. All the times before were just talk and empty threats. But now the bar has been raised to a whole new level, that we were not prepared for. 95% of the time he seem like a normal 78 year old man. He makes himself and grandma dinner sometimes, does the dishes, occasionally goes out and checks the cattle....

This all started a few years ago. But back then the Dr. said it was Dementia. Similar, but not the same as Alz. And just recently now they are saying it has progressed in to Alz.

In all of youalls experiences, do you think it would help to get away from the farm? The outbursts seem to be triggered by the fact that people are out working and he cant help. He worries alot and thinks that he has to know what is going on outside. This is something that we have talked about as a alternative to a home. Would moving into town to a house or senior citizen apartment help?
