It will be interesting to see how Trimble markets a box if they develop one that can do more than guidance (i.e. yield monitoring, planter control, etc, probably through 11783 standards). Who will they sell it to? Ag Leader won't want it - they have their Insight. CNH won't want it - they have the Pro600. Deere won't want it - they have the 2600, and they're not historical Trimble partners anyway. Seems to me it would be a tough market for Trimble to break into without an established precision ag partner of some sort... | |
