NW ND | I shot some pheasant yesterday, decided to fry them up for supper. mixed up my batter, it didn't seem right. started frying them in olive oil, started to get some weird stringy black stuff in the frying pan. absolutely couldn't figure out what was going on.
they never did get a breading on them, when they were done i took the first bite- I had used powdered sugar instead of flour. I learned an important lesson, and my wife got a good laugh at my expense. my oldest daughter ate all she could, smothered in BBQ sauce., but I couldn't eat them.
I hope my prime rib turns out for today.................
anybody else have similar stories?
