Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Mark- Yesterday I tried a setup on the bench to simulate your situation and also to test a faulty app rate module.
When I setup the configuration I was able to indicate an implement switch for the planting portion. I was not presented with the implement switch question for the Raven portion.
With what testing I was able to do, it appeared that it would work properly. On the ends, the implement switch would stop the variety logging/mapping. Shutting off the Raven Master would stop the Raven and also the fertilizer logging/mapping.
It would be possible to have the Implement switch control the Raven and also the implement portion of the process by using a relay. The implement switch could run the app rate module directly but also trip a relay that would start/stop the Raven. This means that you would not need to use the Raven Master switch for turning on the ends.
Many of our customers prefer to switch the Raven ON/OFF themselves. It's a matter of personal preference. |
