They don't vapor lock, anyow.
A computer controlled diesel will get most of 20% better fuel milage. How many gallons does that save you in a year? Vs increased capital costs.
I like 2 strokes, mostly cause the rest of the world doesn't and they are cheap.
The black crap dripping out of the airbox drains is sort of ugly though.
