| Plowboy I have to agree. I still have one here on the farm that we use locally. The old 75 Pete longnose with a 12v71TT and allison automatice and 4 speed auxillary. Sounds good and does the job. This is the truck I used to start my heavy haul business. Would get 3.5-4 mpg pulling 160000 lbs and you could hear for miles literally. Could not find mufflers that would hold up to the heat so we had to run straight pipes. (Yeah right) Probably why I have a hard time hearing today!
