| I agree with the others here. Definitely get a lwayer. You should also consider contacting the local media. TV/radio/newspaper Ask for their investigative reporter. They always want to villify the big guy (airport). Play the innocent property owner who is being robbed. Make sure you include a quote such as, "this could happen to anyone. They could take your home our business." Make it personal.
I would also contact the regulatory agency or association who licenses the appraiser and relay your experience.
Contact any organizations/individuals that could help you. Farm Bureau, state legislators, etc.
Hopefully you will make life painful enough for the airport to force them to the bargaining table. Maybe just a threat of going to the press will be enough. Eminent domain is a hot issue right now and there will be plenty of people willing to take up your cause.
