NE SD | Shannon, we only have one planter to do that with. We used to have a 1790 24R20 that we traded along with an air seeder for the DB. The corn head, yes we would probably trade it back in at Clarke Machine. The reasons we are getting away from 20"......there are many. Residue, spraying, residue, and finally the yield advantage we were hoping to see compared to what we actually saw just isn't worth the extra headaches. The planter is heavier which becomes an issue if the spring is wet, etc. | |
