Development yes...we pay for it's legit govt projects. Sure we've done that for centuries thru military & NASA programs. I didn't think that was in question. BUT-again, patents? We will pay for it twice if there's a patent fee or royalty of some type. Now, maybe the EPA is going to give the technology away with just a letter of "promise". Kind of like computer share-ware or free-ware. Plus, the EPA will be making $$ off the patent, assuming it's successful. That will be rebated to consumer or investors (that would be us-taxpayers)? Right...that's probably what EPA govt body intends...don't you think? They need to get their butt in gear on ethanol plant approvals (supposedly that's big hang-up?) & let private industry do hydraulic research & patenting. Or-is there someone else that should be designated to do EPA approval of projects requiring EPA approval? |
